Darjeeling Tea Boutique is my local agent in India. Located in Darjeeling valley, India he provides me with the freshest tea from the Himalayas. Tea available from this shop is sourced locally in the valley, available in small quantities, and always fresh. I am drinking the tea which was harvested just a few weeks ago. Fresh is equal to fragrant. This is not the kind of tea you were drinking till now, this is a new category. A highly recommended.
Zealong Tea Garden
Zealong Tea Garden is the only tea garden in New Zealand. They produce exceptional kinds of tea. Did you know that you can make 3-4 brews from each black teacup? Not from an ordinary one, but try Zealong Black – you can. The tea is exquisite! Just be warned ahead. This is very, very $ pricey tea.
Janat's French Oak Tea
Another very unique tea that I discovered for myself recently is Janat’s French Oak Tea. Janat is a very old French company that dates back to the World’s Fair of 1889. Gustaf Eifell was a co-founder. A very distinctive and unique twist on what we know as premium Ceylon tea. Unless you have one of the Janat tea shops in your city, it can be difficult to source it, but if you can definitely try it. As a souvenir, the tea package (tin can) contains a tower-shaped keyring made from the very metal of Eifell tower stairs.
